Challenge Design an innovative RC car for Sharper Image that stands out in the highly competitive market, leveraging the existing motors, electronics, and expanding wheels. A strong focus on lighting should be incorporated into the design.
Framework Our design process consisted of three phases, including research and design. We utilized AI to create our inspiration boards and navigate through different design themes.
Solution A cutting-edge RC car design with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic suitable for off-road adventures. The canopy's top lights are elegantly integrated into the frame from the body mounts, creating an aggressive and playful silhouette. The design's strong forms emphasize durability, while the carefully crafted details, such as the headlights and taillights, showcase the meticulous attention to detail.

Solution A cutting-edge RC car design with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic suitable for fast paced stunts. The wheel arms articulate as the car accelerates and flips allowing for continuous fun. Lighting inside the intake ducts exude power while the exposed wheels on the front exemplify the speed of an F1 car.
