SIMPLEHUMAN

Client Simplehuman reimagines household products by creating well thought out solutions to the objects we use everyday. They focus on developing excellent user experiences using high quality materials with exceptional engineering and execution. They make tools for efficient living that are as beautiful as they are functional. For five years I designed products for Simplehuman, along with a talented team, and we created new standards for trash cans, soap pumps, mirrors and more by improving their functionality, being meticulous about every detail, and removing anything unnecessary to the core function. The beauty in their products stems from thoughtfully restrained minimalist forms and details which are carried across their extensive catalog. Below are a few samples among the dozens of projects I worked on over the course of my tenure at LDA.

Contribution The projects below were a group effort by the design team at LDA along with the design direction by Simplehuman. The final products were from a culmination of ideas, phases, and refinement from a variety of people at different times throughout the process.
